For the selective isolation of yeasts and moulds from food, environmental and clinical specimens. Chloramphenicol's broad antibiotic spectrum suppresses most contaminating bacteria allowing the yeasts and moulds to grow. For use with LAB009 Sabouraud Dextrose Agar, LAB036 Rose Bengal Chloramphenicol Agar, LAB037 Malt Extract Agar, LAB117 Dermatophyte Test Medium.
